李亮，研究员，国家级青年人才，华中农业大学农业微生物国家重点实验室神经病毒学博士，斯坦福大学医学院眼科系博士后，Instructor（讲师），中国科学院杭州医学研究所眼科研究中心青年领军人才，博士生/博士后导师。
研究工作聚焦在视神经损伤，青光眼等神经退行性疾病等课题，主要致力于视神经再生因子的筛选，视神经节细胞在退行性疾病中的功能成像及治疗后的功能评价，视神经修复的分子机理探索等相关方向的研究，以期达到神经损伤后眼-脑功能修复和重建的治疗目的。以第一作者和共同通讯作者在Neuron，PNAS，eLife， Frontiers in cellular neuroscience，Brain structure and function和Journal of medical virology等期刊发表研究论文。筛选的视神经修复及再生因子申请国际发明专利。

Dr. Li Liang is a Research Professor and National-level Young Talent. He earned his Ph.D. in Neurovirology from the State Key Laboratory of Agricultural Microbiology at Huazhong Agricultural University, and subsequently completed postdoctoral training and served as an Instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He currently holds the position of Young Leading Talent and serves as a Supervisor for Ph.D. students and Postdoctoral Fellows at the Eye Research Center, Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
His research focuses on optic nerve injury, glaucoma, and related neurodegenerative disorders. He is primarily dedicated to screening novel optic nerve regeneration factors, conducting functional imaging of retinal ganglion cells in degenerative conditions and evaluating post-treatment functional recovery, and elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying optic nerve repair. His work aims to achieve therapeutic reconstruction of eye-brain functional connectivity following neural damage. Dr. Li has published extensively as first author and co-corresponding author in leading international journals, including Neuron, PNAS, eLife, Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience, Brain Structure and Function, and the Journal of Medical Virology. He has also filed international invention patents for several identified factors that promote optic nerve repair and regeneration.
