陈跃国教授、主任医师、博士生导师，1993年毕业与北京大学医学部，获博士学位，现任职于北京大学第三医院眼科。是国内著名的眼科激光视力矫正医师，曾完成数万例各种类型的激光角膜屈光手术，深获患者及同行的信任。任中国医疗保健国际交流促进会视觉健康分会常务委员、中华眼科学会眼视光学组前任委员、中国医师协会眼视光学组委员、中华激光医学会眼科分会委员、美国眼科学会国际会员、美国白内障与屈光手术学会国际会员；中华眼科杂志编委、中华眼视光与视觉科学杂志编委、眼科杂志编委、中华医学会医疗鉴定专家。陈教授积极参与国内外的学术交流活动，主编及主译专著6部，以第一或责任作者身份在国内外专业期刊上发表论著60余篇。

Professor Yueguo Chen, MD graduated with honors from Peking University in 1993 is a skilled laser vision correction specialist who has dedicated his career to improving the visions of his patients. As a pioneer in the Chinese Academy of refractive surgery, Dr. Chen himself has performed more than 40,000 laser vision correction procedures and has held many lectures and live surgery shows at variant training programs. His extensive training in the latest techniques and technologies in laser eye surgery has led many patients all over the country to put their confidence in Peking University Third Hospital. Professor Chen has published five monographic books and more than 60 articles about refractive surgeries and earned good reputations.Based on the concern of the safety and visual quality of refractive surgeries including the study of aberrations before and after refractive surgery, the concept of customization was proposed. Customization refers to the tailor in a unique method to meet the different requirements of special individuals. Refractive surgeries are divided into two major categories, those are corneal and lenticular refractive surgeries. The former includes lamellar laser ablation such as FS-LASIK and SMILE and surface ablation such as LASEK and tPRK. The latter includes phakic IOL implantation and refractive lens exchange. We need to choose unique methods according to unique conditions. Corneal refractive surgery can use whole eye aberration and corneal toprography or corneal aberration guided laser ablation profile to eliminate the refractive errors and reduce higher order aberrations as well. This may improve the patient's satisfaction post-operatively.
