1997年毕业于西安医科大学，获得医学学士学位，毕业后从事眼科临床工作9年。2011年毕业于中山大学中山眼科中心，获眼科学博士学位。毕业后在香港理工大学从事近视科学研究工作至今。专注于近视发病机理及近视防控的研究。建立了小鸡，豚鼠及小鼠等动物的镜片诱导近视模型。通过蛋白质组学方法研究近视的细胞通路，后续进行细胞通路药物靶点研究。通过假设近视理论进行光学控制近视的镜片优化设计研究。

Education and Clinical Experience: He graduated from Xi'an Medical University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Medicine and worked in clinical ophthalmology for nine years. Research Training and Current Position: In 2011, he received a Doctor of Ophthalmology degree from the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University. Since then, he has been conducting myopia research at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Research Focus: His work centers on the pathogenesis and myopia control. He established lens-induced myopia models in chickens, guinea pigs, and mice; investigated myopia-related cellular pathways using proteomics; explored potential drug targets based on these pathways; and studied the optimized design of lenses for optical myopia control.
