荣获“全国白求恩奖章”，入选“赣鄱英才-创新高端人才”及江西省“百千万人才”工程，系江西省高校中青年学科带头人。他担任教育部眼视光学教学指导委员会委员，并兼任江西省医学会常务理事、江西省医学会眼科学分会候任主委、江西省视光学学会理事长及江西省研究型医院学会眼科学分会主任委员等重要学术职务，长期致力于推动区域眼科医疗水平提升及学科建设。在省内率先开展了光动力学治疗黄斑部新生血管性疾病及激光治疗各种眼底病,为江西省开展玻璃体视网膜手术最早，手术例数最多的医生。完成光动力学治疗黄斑部新生血管性疾病1000余例。为20000余例各种眼底病患者进行了激光治疗，并在全省多个地市级医院指导眼底病的诊断和手术。主持完成国家级及省厅级课题十五项，其中3项获省级科研成果三等奖。在国内外核心期刊发表学术论文80余篇。

Professor You has been honored with the National Bethune Medal and selected for the “Ganpo Talents” Innovation High-End Talent Program and Jiangxi Province’s “Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents” Project, serving as an Academic Leader for Young and Middle-Aged Scholars in Jiangxi Universities. He holds multiple key academic positions, including Committee Member of the Ministry of Education’s Teaching Steering Committee for Ophthalmology and Optometry, Standing Council Member of the Jiangxi Medical Association, President-elect of its Ophthalmology Branch, Chairman of the Jiangxi Optometry Society, and Chairman of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Jiangxi Research-oriented Hospital Association. Through these roles, he has long been dedicated to elevating regional ophthalmic healthcare and advancing discipline development. Clinically, he pioneered the introduction of photodynamic therapy (PDT) for macular neovascular diseases and laser treatments for various fundus disorders in Jiangxi Province. Recognized as the earliest and highest-volume vitreoretinal surgeon in the region, he has successfully performed PDT for over 1,000 cases and delivered laser therapy to more than 20,000 patients with fundus diseases, while extensively mentoring clinicians across multiple prefecture-level hospitals. In research, Professor You has presided over and completed 15 national and provincial/ministerial-level projects, three of which received the Provincial Third Prize for Scientific Research Achievements. He has published over 80 academic papers in leading domestic and international peer-reviewed journals.
