在纽约州立大学等从事生物医药相关的博士后，先后任美国ENZON、强生和礼来资深研究员、首席研究员，从事新药设计、生物药、新型药物递送制剂技术及创新产品开发20余年。回国，先后任扬子江药业集团上海新药研究院院长、成都康弘药业技术中心主任和成都苑东生物医药公司研发中心主任。现任成都瑞沐生物医药科技有限公司董事长及研发技术总监。董博士的主要研究领域为眼科新药研究。

Conducted postdoctoral research in biomedicine at the State University of New York (SUNY) and other institutions. Previously served as a Senior Scientist and Principal Investigator at Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, and Eli Lilly in US for over 20 years of experienced in new drug design, biologics, novel drug delivery systems (NDDS), and innovative product development. When back to China, Dr. Dong has been successively held the positions as Director of the Shanghai Institute of New Drugs at Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, Director of the Technology Center at Chengdu Kanghong Pharmaceuticals Group, and Director of the R&D Center at Chengdu Yuandong Biological Pharmaceutical Company. Since 2019, he serves as the Chairman and CSO of Chengdu Ruimu Biopharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd.，his main research area is focused on innovative ophthalmic drugs.
