Research Direction: Diagnosis and treatment of uveitis and retinal optic nerve diseases using traditional Chinese medicine and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. As the first principal investigator, received 10 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards (1 first-class award and 4 second-class awards), published 150 papers, and edited and co-edited 22 books.
