就职于北京同仁医院眼科，任眼科智能影像和远程医疗中心主任，国家人工智能中试基地（医疗）眼科创新实验室及应用推广中心主任助理。主要从事眼底病的诊疗工作。科研方向为眼科大数据人工智能及科研产品转化。

An ophthalmologist at Beijing Tongren Hospital, where she serves as Director of the Center for Ophthalmic Intelligent Imaging and Telemedicine and Assistant Director of the Ophthalmic Innovation Laboratory and Application Promotion Center at the National Artificial Intelligence Pilot Base (Medical). Her clinical work focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of fundus diseases, and her research centers on ophthalmic big data, artificial intelligence, and the translation of scientific achievements into products.

She currently holds the following positions: Executive Member of the Digital Medicine Committee, China Computer Federation (CCF); Member of the Myopia Prevention and Control Working Committee, National Health Commission (NHC); Vice Chair of the Ophthalmology Young Physicians Association, Beijing Medical Doctor Association; Member of the Myopia Prevention and Control and Eye Health Professional Committee, China Association for Standardization (CAS); Member of the Eye Disease Professional Committee, China Primary Health Care Foundation; Youth Member of the Ocular Microcirculation Committee, Chinese Society of Microcirculation; Member of the 6th and 7th Dongcheng District Youth Federation; and Science Popularization Expert of Dongcheng District. She is a certified image reader (grader) at Cheltenham General Hospital, UK. Dr. Shao has led eight national and provincial/ministerial research projects and participated in more than thirty clinical trials. As first author, she has published over thirty papers in domestic and international journals and has co-authored over one hundred papers, with one of her publications receiving 224 citations.
